Sisters!

Through our work we’ve come across some amazing womenswear projects who share our vision to curate ethical and sustainable clothes. We thought it would be fun to share them with you. Check out their sites to see more!

We've also included a couple of pieces from own collection at the bottom as we all know girls who wear menswear are the coolest.

GATHER & SEE

Gather & See was founded by dedicated fashionista’s Steph and Alicia. In their words, "We were becoming more and more dubious about how our products could be made so cheaply and travels to Africa, South America and India in our early twenties had opened our eyes to both amazing traditional craftsmanship but also extreme poverty and exploitation."

Their website curates a beautiful collection of womenswear all of which fits at least three of their five founding philosophies: Fair Trade, Organic, Eco-Friendly, Small Scale Production and Heritage.

THE ACEY

After working for cult social enterprise TOMS, Acey founder Holly Allenby decided to create her own online treasure trove of women’s clothing that combines both ethics and aesthetics. In Holly's words, "I wanted to give women the option to buy better without compromise on ethics or aesthetics."

Uka's nail oils use organic ingredients certified by Ecocert and Cosmebio.

£25 GREY GEELONGORA GLOVES Super soft camel gloves made in the Scottish Borders by a family run business that was established in 2000.

BIRDSONG LONDON

Birdsong find the best makers from women's groups and bring them to you, with a promise of no sweatshops & no photoshop.

Started by three feminists in their twenties, Birdsong began in 2014 as founders Sarah, Sophie & Ruba saw the effects that funding cuts were having on women’s organisations. Many of these women had incredible crafting skills that weren’t being shown off to the world. With their digital marketing, photography and design skills, they decided to source beautifully made clothing from these groups and Birdsong London was born!
