Delighted to share that The Five Points Brewing Company will be providing us with some of their fine beer for our launch. Situated in a railway arch underneath Hackney Downs Railway Station, the brewery takes it's name from the five-way junction where Dalston Lane, Amhurst Road and Pembury Road meet, 'The Five Points'.
As well as being passionate about brewing a flavorsome and high quality beer, The Five Points Brewing Co. are committed to their local community. They are a Living Wage employee and also run an apprenticeship scheme for 18-24 year olds in Hackney, 100% of their energy comes from renewable sources and they reinvest 5% of profits in local charities and community projects.
I'm also very happy to to say that Thornbridge Brewery liked our vision and are sending down a case of their award winning Jaipur IPA (Europe's best pale beer- World Beer Awards). We're hoping to add some hot fruit punch and mulled wine to the mix, so should be a kind evening for your taste buds.
