Terence Sambo repping our new business cards. Having travelled Africa meeting and writing about people in the fashion scene Terence is a really interesting guy to chat too. He told me fashion in the golden continent is vibrant but still an emerging scene. It is dynamic and changing but some sort of African aesthetic can be seen. Terence said it’s, ‘Very ethnic, similar to desert nomads, draping, hand embellishments. The use of African print, not excessively, but here and there.’ Yet whilst there is a general aesthetic, different regions have their own twist to that aesthetic.
