Yesterday I took part in a panel discussion at Pure London trade show on the topic, "How do we make sustainable fashion scalable and accessible?". It was a great to have an opportunity to chat fashion and sustainability and being on the stage was a lot of fun. Tamsim from the Ethical Fashion Forum, Alicia from Gather and See, Sarah from Asap 54 and I agreed that there are a lot of people who want ethically made clothing and that the fashion industry needs to respond to that message and provide the options that people [you/me/us/we] desire.
My personal highlight was chatting to a group of fashion students after the panel and hearing them wax lyrical about how they and their peers are fully behind the sustainable fashion movement. Their style was strong, their hearts positive and it made me excited for what we can all achieve together.
The fashion revolution rolls on ; )
