Description

The steadfast trousers are a traditional utility style featuring externally sewed pockets and made from hard wearing 100% cotton half panama weave cloth which has beautiful texture and a softness that will continue to develop with age and wear.

The fit is regular and sits between Yarmouth's work trousers and deck trousers. They won't restrict movement but aren't excessive. There is also a waist adjuster should you need to nip them in (see final image).

Yarmouth Oilskins has designed and manufactured quality workwear garments to the highest standards in Great Yarmouth, Great Britain for over 100 years. They don’t produce new ranges every season or year. Instead their pieces are pretty much timeless and Yarmouth Oilskins pieces will never become ‘out of date’ or ‘last seasons colours.’

ETHICAL STORY

Strong points

Cut and sewn in-house

Family like working atmosphere

Designed to get better with age

People

Yarmouth Oilskins make their collections in house. They employ a team of skilled craftspeople, many of whom have been with them for decades. It is a family like atmosphere with everyone being celebrated for what they bring to the team. The team have been designing and manufacturing quality workwear garments at the same site for over 100 years!

Yarmouth are proud to be working with British suppliers and manufacturers where possible. The fabric for these trousers was sourced from Brisbane Moss, a textile agent in Yorkshire. The fabric was woven in Turkey.

Planet

Yarmouth Oilskins make hard wearing garments that get better with age. Their philosophy is ‘buy well, buy once and then wear it to death. Every mark and repair is a story.’

Fabrics are Oeko-tex certified. This means they are free of harmful substances and safe for human health and the environment too.
