We have power like never before.
We live in a capitalist society, so the buying and selling of goods/services is predominantly how the world around us is shaped. Thanks to the internet, anyone can now put a stall out. This means we have a meaningful choice as to how we spend our money.
Whereas our choice used to be limited to the ethics of whoever happened to set up shop down the road, we can now buy renewable energy from Bulb, a conflict free mobile phone from Fairphone and ethically made clothes from Brothers We Stand!
Hobson’s choice is no more. We have power to influence the world like never before.
